This ornamental tree grows low to the ground and wide. It takes on a weeping, mounding form. The different varieties feature different shades of green, burgundy, or red leaves and various shades of great fall color. Its leaf lobes are very narrow and serrated, giving them a lacy appearance.

Vigorous evergreen vine with fast growing, woody branches.  Distincly colored, tumpet-shaped, light lavender flowers late spring and summer are backed by contrasting, dark green leaves.  Prune inlate winter to train and to prevent tangling.  Climbs by tendrils, requires support to climb on walls. Liriope is a genus of low, grass-like, flowering plants. This ornamental grass is used in landscaping for its evergreen foliage. It is a very useful border plant or ground cover. This plant comes in many different varieties with various plant heights, foliage color, and bloom colors. Two main species are Liriope muscari (AKA Big Blue Lilyturf) which grows in a clump form and Liriope spicata (Creeping Lilyturf) which grows in a spreading form.
